Coach at 33 Day Korean Challenge

I was born on December 5, 1995, in the charming city of Chuncheon, South Korea.
‍
My mom always fondly recalled how the nurses in the hospital adored my big buddha ear when I was born.
‍
From that moment on, I was eager to listen and learn from the world around me, and this early curiosity has helped shape me into the language coach I am today.

Growing up in a family of engineers, I naturally followed in their footsteps and attended engineering courses.
‍
After four years of hard work, I graduated and eventually found a job that was an excellent fit for me.
‍
Working and living independently allowed me to explore and enjoy various experiences that life had to offer.

Even though everything seemed to be going well, I didn't feel fulfilled or rewarded in my job.
‍
After struggling with this feeling for nine months, I decided to quit my job without concrete plans.
‍
Despite the uncertainty of what lay ahead, I strongly believed everything would ultimately work out for the best.

To better understand myself, I took a deep dive into my past experiences and reflected on my journey thus far.
‍
After several months of introspection through writing, I finally pinpointed my passions and strengths.
‍
With newfound clarity, I decided to dedicate myself to sharing the Korean language and culture with people from around the world.

After discovering that bringing joy and sharing knowledge were my passions, I took my first step towards fulfilling my dream by starting an Instagram account on December 16, 2021.
‍
For the first time in a long time, I felt pride and accomplishment.
‍
However, despite this achievement, I still strongly yearned for something more.

A year after I began creating content, I had the opportunity to meet Ryan and learn about the '33 Day Korean Challenge.'
‍
At that moment, all of my previous yearnings and desires fell into place.
‍
Becoming a Korean coach and teacher was the perfect opportunity to do something I loved and feel fulfilled and rewarded for my work.

Finally, I had found my true calling.

I hope my story has given you a better understanding of my passion for teaching Korean and where my journey is headed.

Learning a new language can be daunting, but I am committed to making the experience as easy and seamless as possible for my students.
‍
