Coach at 33 Day Korean Challenge
I was born on November 25, 1997, in the industrial city of Ulsan, South Korea.
I grew up fighting with my younger brother who's 3 years apart.
I lived in Ulsan until I was 19 years old, so I didn't have a chance to meet foreign people, however, I started to dream of being a Korean teacher when I got to know pen pals.

I lived in Ulsan until I was 19 years old, so I didn't have a chance to meet foreign people, however, I started to dream of being a Korean teacher when I got to know pen pals.
I could learn English by exchanging letters and parcels with my pen pal friends, and thanks to that, I was able to get to know about various cultures.
I still hang out with them since middle school. And I hope I can be forever friends with Hoonies, too.
Anyway, I went to university with a dream of becoming a Korean teacher. And from that moment on, I started teaching Korean to exchange students.

Anyway, I went to university with a dream of becoming a Korean teacher. And from that moment on, I started teaching Korean to exchange students.
After graduating, I got accepted into a foundation that teaches Korean. But I had gone through a so much tough time.
At first, when I got accepted to this foundation, I cried on the street out of happiness because it was the job I had wanted to take for a long time.
However, contrary to high expectations, my coworkers didn't like me because of my young age, and I was deeply disappointed with the organizational culture.
So I eventually left the foundation crying once again - but out of sadness. And at that moment, I realized that I wanted to be a teacher.

Since then, I finally found what I really wanted to do.
I started to make content for teaching the Korean language. Ryan was my role model who helped me to start this journey.
On this journey, I could meet various students from all over the world, laughing and crying together.

I realized I feel the happiest when I teach Korean.
So now, I am studying Master's Degree in graduate school, and about to write my thesis.
Thanks to that, I am discovering many opportunities and challenging myself again and again.
In particular, I am learning many things from students while working as a coach in the 33 day challenge.

The motto of my life is 'Life is only once'. Every moment won't come back anyway.
I hope we can create a moment that everyone enjoys together. As a Korean teacher, I will help Hoonies keep smiling.
I hope we can find small happiness and smile every day. Since you're here, let's enjoy mastering Korean!
