Ohh wow.. l can now string together a sentence! I did not think in 6 months l could introduce myself in Korean. Ryan makes it so fun to learn, tailored for people like me. The examples and words used are fun and simple to learn. Learning this language is the best decision l ever made!

At first, I tried learning Korean on my own using a textbook, but it didn't work well for me. I had to learn too many words at once, and memorizing long lists of words and phrases from a textbook is not fun, so I wasn't motivated enough to keep up with it. What I loved about Expression1 was that each lesson was presented in a short segment. It was easy to learn something new every day without feeling overwhelmed. I had so much fun the entire time! Ryan is funny, energetic, and has an amazing smile! I always felt happier after watching one of his videos.

Initially struggled with pronunciation; but ended up feeling more comfortable and confident in speaking. Ryan's videos are fun to watch and another highlight of my day!

The bite-sized classes really helped me retain more of the information. I found myself playing back past lessons to refresh my mind, which is something that is much harder to do with the longer classes. This was my first challenge, so I didn't quite know what to expect. My only note would be that I was surprised that the curriculum was single vocabulary words and not phrases or expressions. But I still loved every moment!
